Forex trading setup

I received such a positive response to my latest post on Feburary 27th regarding the Swing Trading Dashboard Setup that I thought forex would only be fair to do the same for the spot currency market. I am asked pretty regularly about the best way to setup the Dashboard to monitor Forex symbols. The only difference between the Swing Trading Dashboard and the Forex Dashboard are the symbols and the respective intervals that I like to monitor.

The Swing Trading Dashboard is limited to those equities that have weekly options setup to them. That being said, you can imagine there are quite a few things to keep track of. The Forex Setup on the other hand is pretty setup in the amount of symbols that are being followed at any given time. For the most part, I follow forex major USD based pairs and a few non-USD based pairs. As far as the different timeframes that I follow, I only look at charts that are min or higher.

While I do focus on the various strategies of Advanced GETI rarely take XTL trades with that specific asset class therefore I have removed them from the example below. In this screenshot, I am following the forex Forex symbols on five timeframes apiece with three different trading models in mind.

This opens the door to being able to identify an opportunity and apply the correct trading model most appropriate for that setup. Keep in mind that this is a basic template, but it should serve as a good starting point for users who are looking to develop their own Dashboard window to find trades.
